2019
4h Horse Show
Two of Trinity Horsemanship's students took horses to the Champaign County Fair. Both horse and rider teams did well and placed in the classes they entered. Congradulations to Rose and Noelle, job well done girls! There were students and volunteers who came out to show their support to the girls which was such a heartwarming gesture to them and me!
FUN SHOW
June 2nd we hosted a Fun horse show. There was twelve classes for beginners to intermediate riders, including equitation, trail, pole bending, barrels, egg and spoon and more. The students all did a wonderful job! There was a sense of comradery between everyone. Volunteers and students were helping one another, giving tips, and encouraging the students in the ring showing. Special thanks to our judge Tracy Anderson who not only used her years of experience to judge but also gave out tips to the students afterward. Thank you to our local community who gave so much!
Medieval Workshop
On April 28th we had participants aged from 4-35 join us in how to sword fight, joust, and to shoot a bow and arrow. They enjoyed the horses activities and snacks. Our volunteers also got to join in on the dun of the day.
Autism Network Fair
We joined the autism network fair to share about who we are and what we do. We were happy to see familiar faces and meet new ones. There were family activities of all kinds at the event.
2018
December Workshop
THF students joined Sarah and volunteers out at the barn for a Christmas workshop that included musical horses, ornament decorating, and a jingle bell cart ride with Captain.
October Pony Ride Fundraiser
THF went to Rural King in Champaign to raise funds by giving out rides to the community. Every lesson horse gave rides and was able to raise $900 dollars for scholarships!! Captain also went inside and won a costume contest, which got us a free bag of grain.
July 4H Fun Show
Sarah and some of her private students showed a few of the lesson horses at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. It was an all day event with lots of classes for the students and horses to show off their skills. It was a great show and we appreciate all the THF support!
April Autism Network
Joined the vendors at the Champaign County Fairgrounds to explain who we are and what we do to the Autism community. We also joined in on their walking fundraiser around the track. It was a very fun day with lots of things for the kids to do and a nice lunch!
March Disability Expo
Sarah and Ronnie attending the Disability Expo held at the Vineyard. They joined over 100 vendors who got to explain to the community about what THF does and who we are. We met a lot of people and we hope to see some of those smiling faces for sessions soon!
2017
Rodeo at the blue barn
In June the Barn itself is hosting a Rodeo. On the 9th and 10th. Hooves for Heroes Color Guard will be presenting the flag on those days! We would love to have you join us for s family fun event!
April Pony Ride
We are having a Spring Pony Ride at Rural King in Champaign. April 8th from 1-4pm we will be out with our pony and horses. Rides will be $5 each. There will also be a raffle to win a lesson as well as a 50/50.
March Workshop
Sarah is having a beginner horsemanship workshop. With THF horses she will teach liberty work, haltering, saddling, and leading. Along with games with the horses and pizza!
March 18th, 4-7 pm $15 per participant

2016
disABILITY Resource Expo
THF will be hosting a booth at the disABILITY Resource Expo this year. The Expo is a full-service information and resource fair with vendors who provide services to, or sell products that enhance the lives of, individuals with disabilities and their families and friends. Fundraiser at Rural King!
In October, THF will be at the Rural King in Champaign, IL for a Pony Ride Fundraiser! We are happy to partner with our local Rural King Supply to raise money for scholarships for our Hooves for Heroes program. We’ll be at the Rural King parking lot (913 W. Marketview Dr.) in Champaign on Saturday, October 29th from 1pm to 4pm--so come visit us, meet our lesson horses, and our board members. Rides will be $5 each and we will try to accommodate ANY size rider! There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a chance to win a free lesson! We hope to see everyone out there!
